He announced his retirement from all formats of International Cricket on August 8, 2019. But he kept playing league matches till 18th Jan’ 2023 when he decided to say bye to crickets of all forms. He played for South Africa in 124 Test matches, 181 ODI matches, and 44 T20I matches. Legendary Hashim Amla says Bye to Cricket!
